Hello and Welcome!

Or should i say welcome back, to those of you who are former followers? Let me explain…I used to have another co-authored blog, named the same, about my attempts to try yet another crazy fad diet called the Dukan Diet.  Guess what?  It didnt work.  Well, it did…but like all fad diets, there was a great surge of weight loss in the first few weeks, and then a wicked long plateau (yes i lived in boston) which resulted in loss of motivation, cheating, and failure.  So the weight that i lost is back, plus some from the holidays, and here i am yet again, unhappy with my weight and fearful of if this continuing for any longer.  Therefore, to see change and change should be made! No more fad diets, no more fast weight loss, no more muffin tops, no more black, no more cover ups…NO MORE?  On to the about me part, i have my bachelors of science in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science, i am a certified personal trainer with NASM, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, a former personal trainer, and yes…i do still struggle with my weight!  I absolutely love to work out and always have, but I was that pre-adolescent girl who could eat whatever she wanted and not gain weight, and I have never learned how to change that mind set.  So here we are in 2012, and I am not only going to now practice what I preach, I am going to use what I have paid thousands of dollars getting my education in to good use.  I will lead you through my program, my progress, my results, along with my pain and bitching from here on out.  With a little help from God, my loved ones and you followers…I am motivated and ready to be my own case study!  So hello tank tops, shorts, bright colors, and hot healthy confident self! Whos with me?
